Custom Flags
Our custom flags are made of a 150 denier polyester that is designed to be used either indoors or outdoors. They are double-stitched along all edges and the sleeve or header cloth is made of a heavy-duty pre-dyed nylon for integrity. If a flag has grommets they are generally made of brass (stainless steel is available upon request for an additional fee) and applied to the nylon header cloth.
Our custom flags are digitally printed using dye sublimation.
Because we use dye sublimation we can use nearly any color or color combination you would like. If you have pantones to provide we will use them to match the print as close as possible within the limits of the material; please note that we use the Pantone Solid Coated chart for color selection and comparison.
We are not able to use metallic, reflective, or glow in the dark colors as we do not carry the special inks necessary for this type of printing.
A single-sided custom flag is printed on one side; it has a bleed through to the back which means that you will be able to see the design on the back side but the image will be reversed.
A double-sided custom flag is made by printing two flags and sewing them together with a layer of block-out material between. This means that if you have wording or a logo it will read forwards on both sides of the flag.
Swooper Flags
Swooper flags are tall advertising flags designed to be flown on a special curved pole. Swooper flags, sometimes called feather or banana flags, come in 4 styles on our website: Standard (Classic), Standard Extra-Wide, Windless, or Windless Extra-Wide. They are sold either as just the flag or as the flag bundle (1 flag, 1 pole, 1 ground spike mount).
A Standard (Classic) Swooper flag is the original design for these flags. They sport a curve on the left side that allows the curved pole to provide partial support to the top of the flag. This means that the it only takes a light breeze or wind for the flag to fully unfurl and flap in the wind.
A Windless Swooper Flag is a swooper flag that has a greater curve than the standard swooper flag. The support pole on the left side curves all the way across the top to the right side providing full support. This means that even if there is no wind at all the swooper flag will remain unfurled and the wording or design on it will be visible. Though these types of flags are designed for areas with no wind or trade shows they will still flutter and move like a standard swooper flag when used normally.
The standard width for a Swooper Flag is 30" but an extra wide is 38". The increased size makes the flags even easier to see and allows for more or larger letters/text.
Because of the differences in the sleeves different types of Swooper Flags require different poles. Please see below for our matching guide.
• Standard (Classic) Swooper Flag: SWFN-4PL
• Standard (Classic) Extra-Wide Swooper Flag: SWFN-4PL
• Windless Swooper Flag: SWFN-4DLX
• Windless Extra-Wide Swooper Flag: SWFN-4SPD
We also carry a universal pole: SWFN-4GX that fits any of the styles of swooper flags.
Not all of our flag poles come with the black tie cord but if your flag pole has one it is designed to pair with the white tie string that some of our Swooper Flags come with. Please note that not all flags come with the white tie string; it varies by model. The white tie string is designed to be used in areas of very high wind as an extra point of tension to keep the flag on the pole. This is usually not necessary due to how far down the pole the sleeve goes.
If you have ordered our Swooper Flag Bundles it should come with everything you need for assembly right out of the box. However, if your instructions somehow got lost in transit they can be downloaded here: Swooper Assembly Instructions
Sign Boards
Our company carries 5 different styles of non-magnetic boards and 2 styles of magnetic boards. Our non-magnetic boards are corex, dry erase, chalkboard, acrylic, and acrylic matt chalkboard. We carry both magnetic dry erase boards and magnetic chalkboards as well.
Acrylic Boards are made of solid Plexiglas which gives them a glossy surface both front and back; this means that they are considered double-sided boards. Chalk markers, window pens, and even our waterproof markers will work on these boards. These boards are available in black, white, or clear colors. With the solid Plexiglas construction they are waterproof and highly weather-resistant so we recommend them for either indoor or outdoor use.
Corex is a corrugated plastic. From a side view it looks much like corrugated cardboard, bit is more sturdy and is weatherproof due to its plastic construction. Corex is recommended for either indoor or outdoor use and can function as poster backing or single-use writing material. While is works with several types of markers it's surface is not designed for the markers to be removable and they may stain the surface.
We carry two types of chalkboards: Melamine Laminate Chalkboard and Matt Acrylic Chalkboard
Melamine Laminate is made of a melamine (plastic) laminate backed on a high density fiberboard; this makes the board light-weight but sturdy. The boards are available in green or black and can be used with either traditional chalk sticks or most types of liquid chalk markers. Due to the fiberboard backing the back (and edges of an unframed board) are tan colored. These are considered weather resistant but with the fiberboard backing we recommend they be used either inside or in a protected area as too much moisture can eventually lead to swelling or warping of the fiberboard backing.
Matt Acrylic Chalkboard is made of solid sheet of Plexiglas that has been surface treated for a matt finish. These boards are only available in black, but can be used with traditional stick chalk, liquid chalk markers, window pens, and even our waterproof markers. it is usually sold as single-sided board, with a glossy (untreated) back, but is also available as a double-sided board (matt finish front and back). The solid Plexiglas construction makes these waterproof and highly weather-resistant; we recommend them for both indoor or outdoor use.
The Dry Erase Boards that we carry are mode of a melamine (plastic) laminate backed on a high density fiberboard; this makes the board light-weight but sturdy. These boards work with dry erase markers or most types of liquid chalk markers. Due to the fiberboard backing the back (and edges of an unframed board) are tan colored. These are considered weather resistant but with the fiberboard backing we recommend they be used either inside or in a protected area as too much moisture can eventually lead to swelling or warping of the fiberboard backing.
